New Director-General of NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet

The NSW Premier yesterday appointed Mr Brendan O’Reilly as new Director-General of the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Mr O’Reilly replaces Mr John Lee, who served in the position for 14 months.

Mr O’Reilly was previously Director-General of the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, Deputy Director-General of NSW Premier’s Department, Deputy Director-General of Department of Community Services and Director-General of the Department of Sport and Recreation.

Mr Lee will remain in the post until Mr O’Reilly assumes duties on January 1, 2010.
