Western Australia’s Cabinet Reshuffle
On Friday, 17 December, Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan announced a Cabinet reshuffle.
The most notable change is in the Health portfolio, where Amber-Jade Sanderson has replaced Roger Cook as the state’s Health Minister.
Cook has been in the Health portfolio for 13 years, across Opposition and Government, and will be adding Tourism and Commerce to his responsibilities.
Stephen Dawson is to become the Minister for Emergency Services, Innovation and ICT, Medical Research and Volunteering.
David Templeman will gain the International Education portfolio.
Reece Whitby will take on Environment and Climate Action.
John Carey will add Homelessness to his responsibilities, Don Punch will add Small Business, and Bill Johnston is returning to Industrial Relations.
